Kyleigh got her first bath this week and as you can see I have lots of help. Valynn would have been in the mix but she was at school. I also got Kyleigh smiling. She's been smiling quite a bit and at times I think she means to. It's been a busy week around here. Mondays are always hectic between preschool and gymnastics for the three older kids. On Tuesday Mason had story time and Valynn had an open house at school. On Tuesday Mark went to Wisconsin for work and was gone for over 12 hours but got home in time for the open house. Valynn was excited to show off her baby sister to her classmates and teacher. Valynn showed us where she sat and her classroom got a Smart Board this year and she was showing us how it worked. Yesterday Mark's parents left and after we dropped Mason off at school we ran errands. Today I'm busy doing laundry and other tasks. Kyleigh is still doing great, she's so content just watching everything around her and the kids still love helping out with her. I get way too much help with diaper changes and I'm always informed when she is crying or awake. We're starting to settle into a routine.

CAT's Autumn Adventure
We attended the CAT Autumn Adventure today. The kids got to ride ponies, a monster truck, and a hayrack. They also got to make candles, play games, and play in inflatables. We had a lot of fun.
The Rinkel's made it last night and today they are putting a new window in the girls' room.
I included some pictures of the kids as well. I love the "Help me mom" look on Kyleigh's face.

Mason's Party
I'm a little late getting this sent out, but here's pictures from Mason's birthday party. His theme was Monster Trucks and once again, Mark did an excellent job on the cake. We had a great time visiting with everyone and the kids had fun playing.
Saturday was spent at home doing odds and end. We got some weeding done around the house and the garden taken care of. We have got enough applesauce made to last through the winter. Sunday Mark and I took all four kids to church, run errands, and out to eat while the Grandmas stayed at home. Mark got some studying done and a test taken as well. Yesterday was a busy day. Mason had a doctor's appointment, preschool, and gymnastics. Kyra and Valynn also had gymnastics.
As you can see, I'm still getting plenty of help. That is Kyra helping me give Kyleigh a bath.

Mason's big day
Happy birthday to my 5 year old boy. Wow, time sure flies. He's excited to open his gifts and for his party on Friday. He also started school today and took treats for his birthday. He made his treats with grandma. He was ready to go back and he did a terrific job according to Ms. Angie. Kyra also started her "school" today, since it was the first day of MOPS. We went for about an hour so I could show Kyleigh off and meet the new moms. Today we're going to bake Mason's birthday cake so dad can start decorating it tonight. We're also going to have the supper of Mason's choice, hot dogs and chips.
User Friendly
Thank goodness we got the user friendly model. Kyleigh is so laid back. She sleeps most of the time. She's giving me a good 5 hours of sleep every night, it would be longer but I wake her to eat. She only cries when she's hungry and she's perfectly content to lay in the bouncer or on the table instead of being held. She still gets held plenty between the Grandmas and the siblings. I usually only get her for feeding time, but that will change in a couple of weeks. I hope she continues to be easy going. Valynn helped give Kyleigh a bath the other night. Valynn thought it was funny when Kyleigh peed on me, then she peed a second time and got Valynn's arm. Kyra helps clean Kyleigh's umbilical cord with alcohol at every diaper change, even though the umbilical cord fell off, we still clean it. Mason is also present at diaper changes but he get to wipe Kyleigh and put on the clean diaper.
